WHAT IS FECO?

FECO is a highly concentrated, whole-plant extract that is known to provide one of the broadest spectrums of cannabinoids and terpenes available - the components responsible for the medicinal benefits of cannabis. Due to this fact, many consider FECO to be one of the most potent and versatile medical cannabis treatment options as it offers the largest range of cannabinoids and terpenes to boost each other's effects based on the entourage effect. In medical circles, FECO is considered to be no less than revolutionary in its capabilities and versatility. All over the world, FECO is being used by patients battling a wide variety of chronic and in some cases fatal diseases.

CBD VS. FECO

Cannabidoil (CBD) is one of 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants, whereas Full Extract Cannabis Oil (FECO) is a highly concentrated, whole-plant extract that is known to provide one of the broadest spectrums of cannabinoids and terpenes available - the components responsible for the medicinal benefits of cannabis.

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD, which is produced by removing all other compounds found in the plant including terpenes, flavanoids, plant parts, and other cannabinoids. FECO - When present together, CBD, THC and its cannabionoid colleagues, as well as terpenes, produce what is known as the entourage effect. The synergistic relationship between cannabionoids and terpenes has been shown to increase the healing properties of each other.

CBD isolate is created by removing all other molecules, except CBD from the Full Extract. All that remains is pure CBD, with little or none THC. Can be used in oils, topicals, edibles without a psychoactive effect or high. Although FECO contains THC, it is within the consumer limitations, which means that it will not give one the psychoactive effect when using the recommended dosages. FECO makes use of the entire plant which contains the natural occuring cannabinoids, THC, vitamins, minerals and plant proteins.

Higher concentration of CBD per bottle. No entourage effect. Smaller therapeutic range. FECO - The different compounds work together synergistically to create the entourage effect. Wider therapeutic range.

CBD - Good for treating some mild conditions. FECO - Great for treating mild conditions, as well as chronic and acute conditions and/or diseases.

WHAT IS SOY?

The soy binding we use is a phospholipid that can be found within eggs, avocados, soybeans, and sunflowers. The substance acts as a binding agent that keeps ingredients stuck together. It may even play a role in increasing the potency of oil/edibles. We take a closer look at what is going on. Just like the process of growing cannabis plants, adding the flowers into oils / food recipes and creating oils / edibles is an art form. There are countless recipes out there now and almost any dish, whether sweet or savoury, can be infused with cannabinoids for either medicinal or recreational purposes. Making edibles/oils isn’t always simple, especially for those cannabis enthusiasts who are new to the world of cannabis oils/edibles. There are many ways to improve certain dishes and recipes, and factors such as flavor, texture, and presentation can be optimized to realy make the experience fun and memorable. One secret weapon when it comes to tinkering with weed is the use of a soy binding agent, an ingredient that can greatly improve the structural integrity of an edible / oil, and may enhance the absorption of the prized cannabinoids within.

Perhaps the best reason to add soy-binding agents to your oils is one that will really get cannabis enthusiasts excited. The emulsifier can act to increase the potency of cannabis in numerousvways, helping users to make the most of the oils they are using. Your body may have an easier time digesting the bound ingredients and will be able to access and digest THC and other cannabinoids more easily. As wel as this, soy binding is known to be a surfactant, a compound that lowers surface tension. This fact means that soybinding agents help to distribute THC and cannabinoids more efficiently.

WHY SOY BINDING AGENT?

Soy binding agent is a phospholipid, a type of fat, that is often used as an additive within the food to enable certain ingredients to bind and stick together that would usualy repel each other. Binding agents can be found within egg yolks, which is why eggs are frequently used in recipes to thicken sauces and bases. Vegan sources of binding agents include avocados, soybeans, and sunflowers. The binding agent serves an essential role within the body and makes up parts of cel membranes - the protective barrier that separates the interior of cels from the outside. There is evidence to suggest that our specific soy binding agent may be useful in cases of liver and galbladder disease, and some even employ it in attempts to treat cognitive impairment, dry skin, and numerous other conditions. Aside from being used as a health supplement, binding agents play a major role in oils and food products. It works as an emulsifying agent and additive that works to stabilize processed foods. It helps foods that usualy don’t mix to stay together. For example, when adding a teaspoon of coconut oil into a cup of coffee the oil wil rise to the top of the liquid, the two substances won’t mix together. When adding an emulsifier such as a soy binding agent, the two wil mix together and stay together, creating a more pleasant beverage. It’s easy to see why binding agents are so important and widely used in food products that use oils and water. Binding agents basically help oil-based ingredients interact and stabilize with water-based ingredients.

THE ROLE OF MCT IN FECO

Of the many ways to take Feco, ingesting it in the form of soft gels or tablets is extremely popular. While not everyone is familiar with taking a tincture, almost everyone has taken a pil at some point in their life. While popping a Feco supplement is a familiar and easy method of delivery, ingesting Feco this way is known to take effect slower than other methods of ingestion. This is because Feco must first pass through the digestive tract and liver before reaching the bloodstream. Not only can this take longer for FECO to work, but some FECO can become lost in the digestive process. Think of it like this. When you take an oral supplement, the active ingredients contained in that supplement are absorbed within the digestive system. Compounds are broken down in the stomach, then absorbed by the small intestine before making their way to the liver. It’s in the liver that you can lose FECO. First-pass metabolism is a process where FECO is broken down into more than 100 various metabolites, a lot of which aren’t used by the body and are instead quickly expeled. This process decreases the amount of FECO, thus reducing its bioavailability. In fact, a 2009 study found that oral consumption of cannabis has a bioavailability of 4–20%. Basically, this means that if you take a 100mg capsule of CBD, only 4–20mg wil actually reach the bloodstream. Here is where MCT oil steps in. MCT oil acts as a carrier for FECO so more of the beneficial cannabinoid ends up reaching the bloodstream. Blending FECO and MCT oil is done specificaly to increase the bioavailability of FECO. How exactly does this work? MCT helps FECO completely avoid the first-pass metabolism process. This alows more FECO to reach the bloodstream. Because FECO and other cannabinoids are fat-soluble, they are most effective when taken with saturated fats, such as MCT oils.

Simply put

THE ROLE OF MCT OIL IN WONDERPLANT'S FECO PRODUCTS IS TO ALLOW A LARGER CONCENTRATION OF THE FECO IN YOUR SUPPLEMENT TO BE ABSORBED INTO THE BLOODSTREAM AND BEGIN ACTING QUICKLY. WE ALL KNOW THAT FECO IS WILDLY BENEFICIAL AND MOST OF US WANT TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS BENEFICIAL CANNABINOID THAT WE CAN. MCT OILS HELP US DO JUST THAT. NOT ONLY DO MCT OILS HELP INCREASE THE BIOAVAILABILITY OF FECO ALOWING FOR QUICKER DELIVERY AND MORE FECO ABSORPTION, BUT THEY ALSO HAPPEN TO BE REALLY GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH.

MCT stands for "Medium Chain Triglyceride"

Medium chain triglycerides are the compounds that give health and beauty oils (like coconut oil) many of their beneficial properties. You've likely heard over the years that coconut oil can be a one-stopfix-all super oil. Some say it's capable of taking care of everything from inflammation and damaged skin to energy levels and thinning hair. But guess what? It's not specifically the coconut, per se, that gives coconut oil all of its wonderful characteristics. In fact, based on studies pure coconut oil isn't all that it's cracked up to be in terms of its perceived health benefits.

The reason for this?

Besides its supply of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), coconut oil is also chock-full of long-chain triglycerides, or LCTS. LCTs are much more difficult for the body to digest, metabolize, and ultimately use as an energy source.

This means:

The body can quickly and easily metabolize
MCTs and use them as energy. They provide an almost immediate source of natural fuel, and guess what? Instead of being stored in tissue as fat, MCTs are readily used by cells and metabolized to provide the body with clean, ultra efficient energy.

Is FECO Oil with Coconut Oil Bad for You?

Coconut oil and MCT oil both have health benefits of their own, so either of those two are fine choices, especially at the small amounts generally taken with each dose of FECO. Wonderplant uses 100% Organic coconut oil, which is a natural superfood on it's own.
